After he moved to Wiltshire, Andrew’s studies continued,, adding Graphic Design, 3D Design, Photography and Illustration to his list of skills. Andrew worked for years in the advertising and Design sector employing his skills as a designer, illustrator and director of photography.

Fine Art and painting in particular have always been Andrew’s passion, and the use of traditional materials is a real pleasure. He enjoys painting many different subjects, including still life, architecture and landscapes.

Water’s light reflecting qualities often feature in Andrew’s work, This light can be found both his home in north Wiltshire, to more distant locations around the British Isles and Europe. Andrew works mainly in Oils or Acrylic, and is influenced by the effects of light and atmosphere.

Colour plays in important part in Andrew’s paintings. His work often demonstrates a strong sense of design in the way they are composed. He employs a wide range painting methods and techniques, and often adjusts his working ‘style’ to suit the mood and atmosphere of a particular subject or scene.

Sculpture and Ceramics also play an important part of Andrew’s portfolio. He enjoys working in 3D, and produces both thrown and hand built ceramic pieces and also sculpture in stone and resin.
