Jason Anderson lives in the south west of England. His vibrant compositions are imbued with the essence of its coastal reflections and never ending skies, creating a movement and atmosphere that has a distinctive visual language all of its own.
He uses dense layers of oils, crafting finished works that have both a sculptural and fluid movement to them. Jason’s work strives to ignite an emotional response from the view through his choice of texture, colour, and artistic strokes, leaving the viewer with a sense of immediacy and sensation that a purely representational piece might miss.
As well as his work being in collections worldwide, in 2019, Jason produced the artwork for Billie Eilish’s single “Everything I Wanted,” which was a collaboration of his atmospheric expression to the emotional tone of music, cumulating in his vibrant, abstract painting of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.
