Christine Code is a Canadian artist living in rural Saskatchewan. She likes to explore the techniques of impressionism and tonalism using both brush and palette knife.
Regularly painting en plein air, she works mainly outdoors and the knowledge she gains in those images in the field, is expressed within the larger works painted later in her studio.
Christine has won several prestigious awards, amongst them the Federation of Canadian Artists, National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society, Oil Painters of America, Modern Impressionist Salon and the PleinAir Salon.
Additionally, her work has been featured in PleinAir Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, Modern Impressionist Magazine, and the cover of Art Avenue Magazine. And in 2024, Christine was Elected Member of the Society of Canadian Artists.
Christine’s work is enjoyed in private collections throughout the world including Canada, the United States, Australia, Belgium, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Italy, and the Untied Kingdom.
